这真是一所名副其实的顶级高中！

夏洛特拉丁学校Charlotte Latin School的高科技科学实验室（上图与我合影的老教授就是实验室负责人）是世界顶级的！目前全世界也只有20所中学有这样的实验室！

夏洛特拉丁中学还跟MIT大学实验室有合作，理工科和机器人课程超强！艺术也是毫不逊色！

当然，高科技的设备也是罕见的先进！学校竟然有16台3D打印机！

这是什么概念呢？

石老师举个例子，全美顶级寄宿初中Fay school ，只有一台3d打印机！

charlotte Latin school夏洛特拉丁中学是一所男女混合的走读制大学预备中学，年级设置是K到12级，成立于1970年，位于夏洛特郊区，学校面积122英亩，校园风景如画！设施先进！学术也是堪称顶级！学校是1400人的大校，SAT均分高达1942！AP通过率高达97%！

夏洛特拉丁学校Charlotte Latin School所在夏洛特市，这是一所非常棒的城市！石老师首先为大家介绍一下：

夏洛特气候温和，四季分明，一年有 9-10 个月可以穿短袖， 一般一年只下 1-2 次雪。夏洛特市是一座高度现代化的工商业城市，是美国东南部地区最重 要的金融、贸易和交通运输中心，也是美国东南部地区经济发展速度最快的城市。美国的12 家银行，其中包括 5 家美国最大的银行，在夏洛特市经营银行金融业务。夏洛特市现有 就业人口 256000 人，其中约 120000 人从事金融业，银行资产总额达 460 亿美元。实力雄 厚的金融业为夏洛特市的经济发展奠定了牢固的基础。夏洛特市也是美国东南部重要的工商 贸易区，工业以纺织、电力、家具、计算机、化工、机械、食品以及高技术开发为主。

说起学校的特色课程，夏洛特拉丁学校的工程和辨论课程、视觉艺术和表演艺术非常有名的。学校就是一个艺术长廊，在参观的过程中，无论走到任何教学楼都会看到墙上的艺术作品！学校将视觉艺术和现代科技有机联系起来，践行了目前最先进的教育模式：STEAM，也就是说在STEM的基础上融入了艺术。

学校的校训是荣誉胜于一切，学校以培养综合能力和国际视野的学生为目的，希望学生们以后不只是学术能力很强，还希望他们可以有非常棒的表达和沟通能力，做一名全方位的国际人才！

夏洛特拉丁学校的课程设置：

AP课程：计算机、物理学、化学、生物、拉丁语、西班牙语、美国政府和政治、美国历史、现代欧洲史、法语、法国文化、德语、统计学、微积分、音乐史。

普通课程：生物学、微积分、计算机、英语、法语、西班牙语、德语、拉丁语、现代欧洲历史、音乐理论、物理、统计学、政治、美国历史等。

毕业要求：选修，英语，外语，历史，数学，体育，科学。

特别课程：14门AP课程，荣誉课程，出国学习，为有天赋的学生提供学术课程。

这次接待石老师参观的是国际交流项目老师Derek Smith老师，他曾在欧洲和南美等4个国家工作过14年，他本人也教历史课，他向我们介绍学校已经有20年国际交流经验，每年都会派学生去世界各地交流和学习。学校非常注重对学生国际视野的培养。
