学校简介

太平洋大学（University of the Pacific）是一所位于美国加利福尼亚州斯托克顿的著名私立大学，学校成立于1851年，是美国加州最早获得认可执照的大学。学校一开始的名字叫做加州卫斯练学院（California Wesleyan College），1911年改名为太平洋学院（College of the Pacific )。 在1962年和旧金山医学院（College of Physicians and Surgeons）合并，并且有了现在的名字。被《美国新闻与世界报道》评为一级国家级大学。

太平洋大学坐落在加州斯托克顿市，校园风景如画，该市位于加州三角洲航道，因此有很多水上运动项目，包括喷气滑雪、冲浪和帆船。斯托克顿市位于加州北部，紧邻太浩湖、约塞米蒂国家公园和太平洋海岸。学校到旧金山市、圣何塞市和纳帕山谷仅需90分钟。
