【美高考察-MA】 Bancroft School--本克罗夫特--班克罗夫特

Bancroft School招收幼儿园到12年级的学生，在教学中始终坚持学术与艺术自由。在过去的一个多世纪里，BancroftSchool目睹了许多变迁，但唯一不变的是把学生的需要作为教学工作的核心。
目前在校学生480名，其中高中部有14名国际生，每班人数在13名左右，师生比1:8.
学校任教教师124人，67%以上拥有高级学位。
学校学术优异，2014年AP开设有17门，大学升学率100%。高中部在华盛顿邮报2013年的America's Most Challenging High Schools排名11位。

Bancroft位于马萨诸塞州中部第二大城市,历史名城，伍斯特（Worcester），始建于1668年前后。城市很小但向以生产各种金属丝、纺织品、玩具、毛毯等著名。学校距离波士顿51.1英里，车程60分钟左右。

Bancroft 中学部把学生理性思维，艺术涵养，运动活力，表达交际，道德情感教育贯穿教学始终。每年60%的学生获得John Hopkins优秀青少年奖学金。Bancroft 高中部在中学理念的基础上，更进一步挖掘学生各方面潜能，致力于将学生培养成能适应当今全球化趋势的“多功能”现代型人才。
普通课程:
英语、机器人工程学、法语、拉丁语、西班牙语、中文、世界历史、美国历史、代数、微积分、音乐理论、音乐欣赏、剧院科技、爵士乐团、生物、化学、环境科学、海洋科学等
AP课程:
英文语言、英文文学、计算机科学、法语、拉丁语、西班牙语、美国历史、欧洲历史、统计、微积分、生物、化学、物理C、工作室艺术等
学校提供文理教育，知名校友有普利策奖得主，生物学家，慈善家等。

棒球、橄榄球、冰球、排球、越野田径、篮球、网球、足球、高尔夫球、高山滑雪、陆上曲棍球、划舟、游泳、田径等
