【选校参考】亚裔学生在美国名校的比例

 亚裔学生在美国公立高中的平均比例只有5%,但是在美国名校的新生招生时,这个比例就远远不止5%这么低了,来自美国本土的亚裔高中生和来自亚洲的“学霸”们,共同把这个数字翻了若干倍。
在加州大学欧文分校,亚裔学生已经超过了50%的比例!在亚裔云集的加州其他学校也不甘示弱,UC(加州大学)系统的五所学校——Irvine,San Diego,Berkeley,Davis,Los Angeles——包揽了明国名校亚裔学生的TOP 5,比例都超过了40%。
常春藤名校中,Columbia University哥伦比亚大学比例最高,亚裔学生占到了25%,最低的布朗大学也有15.7%,全美第一的哈佛大学这一比例是21.8%。
总体分布上,西海岸是亚裔学生最聚集的地方,东北部地区的名校也吸引亚裔学生纷纷前往。而南部和中西部对于亚裔学生则显得没有那么多的吸引力了。例如TOP20内的名校Univeristy of Notre Dame圣母大学,其亚裔学生的比例只占7%。
